What we believe!

At the churches of the Howard UMC charge, we are a people dedicated to God and in love one with another. We believe in: God the Father! There is one God! He is worthy of our praise! Jesus Christ! God’s Son and our Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit! He is our comforter, teacher, guide and friend. The Cross! The sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary paid the price of sin before a Holy God. Jesus and His Cross are the only way to salvation and eternal life. The Bible! We believe it to be the Word of God and the absolute truth giving direction to living a life of peace with God. Prayer! We believe God hears and answers prayer! It's just that simple! And we believe when people bind themselves together in prayer one for another, it touches and moves the very heart of God.
